Pete candeland

Pete Candeland is a Sydneyborn director who started his career as an animator at Disney, working on projects including ‘Beauty and the Beast’, before joining Passion’s roster in 2000. Shortly after joining, Pete began a decadelong journey of codirecting promos and ‘live’ performances by virtual band Gorillaz with designer Jamie Hewlett, a creative venture which yielded some of the best and most important animated music videos of all time. Pete’s commercial reel is no less impressive and includes iconic work for Red Bull, Jack Daniel’s and the BBC, for whom he helmed the aweinspiring ‘Stadium UK’ film promoting the broadcaster’s coverage of the 2012 London Olympics.
