Artist-director duo Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach formed a close collaboration after attending leading design institutions Les Gobelins, CalArts, and in Ugo’s case, Les Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Their work has since attracted international attention and acclaim.
It was in California that they turned to animation as their main medium, cultivating a contemporary, experimental style reminiscent of the comic books of the 40s and 50s. Their work, equipped with this distinctive and evolving aesthetic, lends itself to short animated films, music videos as well as a new venture into the commercial world.
