Passion is a unique independent integrated entertainment company telling stories in every format through multiple mediums. With offices in London, Paris, New York and Melbourne, Passion has won multiple Academy Awards, BAFTAs, Emmys and advertising awards for its feature films, TV and commercial content.
Established in 1987 by CEO Andrew Ruhemann, Passion is one of Europe’s foremost animation commercials production companies, and is also the umbrella name for our feature film, science and nature, and design divisions.
We have forged a reputation for producing ground-breaking music videos, documentaries, commercials and live events that have caught the public’s attention. From our 10-year collaboration with virtual band Gorillaz, to the hugely successful advertising campaign for Compare the Market, or the 2013 Academy Award-winning documentary feature Searching for Sugar Man, we deliver the highest production values possible across multiple mediums.
We are a boutique production company based in the heart of Paris, specialised in animation, full of our local directors, producers and designers.
Founded in 2004 by Marc Bodin-Joyeux, Pierre Coffin and Andrew Ruhemann, we are a sister company of Passion Pictures in London and closely work with our fellow production houses in New York and Melbourne.
Our international roster of directors loves to take on every challenge, no matter the size or the format. We work with every type of animation, be it traditional 2D, stylised or full CG, stop frame and mixed media.
We strive to find the perfect creative solution for every brief - animation and storytelling is in our DNA.
Crush is our creative lab - where we discover and develop fresh talent and work on non-traditional innovative formats.
